- Does anyone of know of any known problems with using
- print manager in win3.1 to spool information to a printer
- while using a high speed modem? The problem seems to be
- lost data if print manager is enabled. The lost data
- problem goes away when print manager is disabled. This
- is on a 486dx2/66 VLB machine with a 14.4k modem. I am
- using wfxcomm.drv as the serial driver and have enabled
- the 32 bit disk access. The program being used
- is a dedicated terminal emulation program written for real
- estate agents to connection to the local multiple listing
- service. The company that wrote the software insist that
- the problem is not their software (I have my doubts). They
- claim the problem does not occur on machines running win3.11
- or win95.
-
- Thanks for any words of advice.
